Position Overview

The RPMGlobal organization is in search of a Grants Analysis, Analyst to collaborate with a Federal Client.

This role currently operates on a hybrid schedule, requiring three days on-site attendance. The schedule may be adjusted based on organizational or contract needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage primarily with Grants Officers (GOs) and Program Officers (POs) to facilitate effective communication with grantees. This includes organizing meetings between GOs, POs, and grantees, as well as liaising with grantees throughout the pre-award, post-award, and closeout phases as directed by POs and GOs;
  • Assist in the award facilitation process by delivering timely budget negotiation services and preparing award (or amendment) documentation;
  • Support GOs and POs in the development and management of awards, ensuring alignment with goals and evaluation timelines;
  • Help GOs and POs execute all award actions, which encompasses facilitating grantee access to necessary systems and payment authorizations, while also providing support in award file management and the closeout process;
  • Conduct final reviews of completed awards, making necessary adjustments or disallowances.
  • Gather Federal Assistance Agreement folders (both paper and electronic);
  • Calculate indirect costs as applicable, utilizing expenditures reported on Financial Status Reports and final indirect cost rates for each fiscal year;
  • Draft amendments to awards reflecting any adjustments from "funds paid" to recipients and approved allowable costs;
  • Prepare closing cover letters to recipients seeking agreement on final cost determinations;
  • Generate clearing documents for Federal Assistance Agreements;
  • Create closing checklists in relevant systems for Federal Assistance Agreements;
  • Reconcile obligation balances across multiple systems to ensure agreements are ready for closeout;
  • Attach closing documents to agreements folders and return them to the appropriate agency officials.
  • Some travel may be necessary to support partner site visits.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in managing and auditing grants, including performing grant closings
  • Ability to analyze program data and evaluate documentation to support award negotiations and performance monitoring
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Outstanding customer service abilities
  • Familiarity with Federal Assistance regulations, policies, and processes
  • Proficiency in information systems that support financial and procurement processes
  • Proficient in Microsoft tools including Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook, and Power BI

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge of GAAP, OMB Circular A-133, or 2 CFR 200 standards

Education

Bachelor's degree required

Clearance Requirements

All candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance, which includes an assessment of financial background.

Salary is determined based on qualifications, experience, and contractual limitations. The projected compensation range for this position is $100,000–$110,000 annually, representing a typical salary range and part of RPMGlobal's complete compensation package.
