As a RN in the MICU, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill patients, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Participate in code blue and rapid response team activations as needed.
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly in the electronic medical record.
- Current licensure in Massachusetts as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Minimum of 2 years of medical-surgical experience, with ICU experience preferred.
- BSN degree or higher.
- ACLS and CCRN certifications preferred.
