Job Title: Distribution Center Operations Manager

At O'Reilly Auto Parts, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Distribution Center Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our distribution center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of our distribution center, including customer service, asset management, financials, and team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all aspects of the distribution center, including physical assets, operating costs, safety, loss prevention, inventory integrity, and team members.
  • Manage all distribution center expenses and approve and sign off on all expenses.
  • Ensure timely delivery, accuracy of shipments, and good customer relations.
  • Ensure compliance with company operations, policies, and procedures daily.
  • Manage all salary and hourly team members, providing excellent leadership, training, and guidance.
  • Work with the Regional DC Director to establish annual goals and the plan to follow for accomplishing those goals.
  • Collaborate with the Human Resources team to support team members and others as needed to ensure effective recruiting, hiring, and training practices.
  • Conduct timely evaluations of all team members.
  • Work with the Regional DC Director to prepare annual operating, labor, and capital expenditure budgets.
  • Ensure a safe working environment and aggressively manage all risk and risk-related costs.
Requirements:
  • High school graduate or equivalent (GED)
  • Excellent leadership and people skills
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Above-average computer skills
  • Ability to oversee multiple tasks at one time and prioritize accordingly
  • 4+ years of successful management or assistant management in a distribution center
Preferred Qualifications:
  • College degree or logistics certification
  • Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
