Advanced Vehicle Performance Engineer

As part of the NASCAR vehicle dynamics team, the selected candidate will be responsible for creating simulation software utilized by both race teams and the Engineering Department, while also focusing on enhancing vehicle performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Development of simulation models.
Correlation of models with empirical test data.
Identifying and leveraging opportunities for vehicle performance enhancement and development.
Support the vehicle dynamics team in the creation of an OEM DIL Simulator.
Provide assistance during track testing.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess at least a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, along with a minimum of 6 years of experience in vehicle dynamics and simulation.
Additional Qualifications:
Proficiency in MSC ADAMS, VI-CRT, Modelica / Dymola, AVL-VSM, LMS Virtual.Lab, SIMPACK, or comparable multi-body dynamics simulation tools.
Programming skills in C, C#, VB.Net, or similar languages.
Experience in motorsports engineering.
