Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Billing and Collections Specialist to join our team at KPH Healthcare Services, Inc. As a key member of our revenue cycle team, you will be responsible for collecting, posting, and managing account payments, ensuring excellent customer service and working with insurance companies to obtain timely results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, post, and manage account payments in a timely and accurate manner
- Prepare and submit claims to various insurance companies and follow up as necessary
- Prepare, review, and issue patient statements, resolving any billing complaints or issues
- Perform various collection actions to ensure prompt payment
- Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines and regulations
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- 1-2 years of previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the DME or healthcare industry
Compensation:
$20.67 per hour
The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors, including relevant skills, years of experience, and education.
