Become a Track Vehicle Repairer in the U.S. Army

As a Track Vehicle Repairer, you'll play a vital role in maintaining and repairing tracked vehicles, ensuring they are ready for any mission. You'll be responsible for tasks such as fuel system repair and maintenance, electrical system troubleshooting, and general vehicle upkeep.

Requirements
  • U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident with a valid Green Card
  • Age between 17 and 34 years old
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Adherence to Army Tattoo Guidelines
  • No Major Criminal Violations
  • Good Overall Health
Testing & Training

You'll undergo rigorous training to become a skilled Track Vehicle Repairer:

  • 10 weeks of Basic Combat Training
  • 13 weeks of Advanced Individual Training
  • Nationally Recognized Certifications Available (over 110)

Your ASVAB scores will determine your eligibility for this role:

  • 92 or higher in Mechanical Maintenance (MM)
  • 87 or higher in Mechanical Maintenance (MM) and 85 or higher in General Technical (GT)
