Job Title: Vehicle Maintenance Specialist

Cypress-Fairbanks ISD is seeking a skilled Vehicle Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our transportation department, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of vehicles.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with vehicles, including electrical and electronic systems.
  • Assist in the maintenance and repair of specialized equipment, such as buses and trucks.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed.
  • Work closely with other team members to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid Texas CDL with Passenger and School Bus endorsements required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in vehicle maintenance and repair.
  • ASE certifications or TASBT certifications preferred.
