- Follow established menus and adhere to portion control guidelines.
- Prepare meals for special dietary needs with precision.
- Monitor and record food temperatures for all prepared meals.
- Prepare pureed meals as required.
- Work collaboratively and harmoniously with staff across all departments.
- Maintain appropriate sanitizing solutions in cleaning buckets.
- Assist in serving meals to residents.
- Clean cooking areas and serving equipment thoroughly.
- Report any resident care concerns or potential issues to the Administrator or Director of Nursing.
- Participate in the orientation and ongoing training of dietary personnel.
- Present food in an appealing manner to enhance residents' dining experience.
- Exhibit a cooperative attitude.
- Willingness to supervise and work under guidance.
- Ensure compliance with all cleaning schedules.
- Prior experience in cooking.
