Early Childhood Educator Opportunity at Mammoth Mountain

Mammoth Mountain Ski Area is seeking a qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Mammoth Child Care, a state-licensed early education center for children ages 0-5 years old.

About the Position

The Infant Teacher will provide a warm and loving atmosphere where infants and toddlers age 0-24 months are encouraged to discover the world through play. As an early childhood educator, you will be responsible for providing safe and developmentally appropriate programs that align with all relevant federal and state and facility-specific policies.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging and educational programs for infants and toddlers
  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to grow and develop
  • Collaborate with other educators to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive educational experience
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to ensure a smooth transition for children
Requirements
  • Minimum qualifications: 12 early childhood education units, California Associate Teacher Child Development Permit, or eligibility for permit
  • Preferred qualifications: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field, California Master Teacher Child Development Permit or California Teacher Child Development Permit
