Our teams work at the intersection of Computer Vision, Graphics, and Machine Learning. The aim of this role is to develop and advance the state-of-the-art technologies in bringing immersive AR/VR experiences.

Research Opportunities

As a research scientist intern, you will contribute to a research project for new methodologies that can be experienced by billions of people around the globe. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Research, develop, and prototype advanced technologies in the domain of Computer Vision, Graphics, and Machine Learning.
  • Delve into publishable research results with direct impact on Meta products.
  • Analyze the efficiency, accuracy, scalability, and stability of currently deployed technologies to identify opportunities for impact through novel research.
  • Collaborate with team members throughout the lifetime of a project.

Requirements

To qualify for this position, you must have:

  • A PhD degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields (in progress).
  • 1+ year of experience in one or more areas of Computer Vision, Computer Graphics, and Machine Learning.
  • 2+ years of experience with modern C++ and/or Python.
  • 1+ year of experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch.
  • Full-time work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment for a minimum of 12 weeks.

Benefits and Salary

We offer a competitive salary of $98,160 - $147,432 per year, along with benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
