About the Role:

This position is a research opportunity in synthetic image generation, working with our Reality Labs team at Facebook. We are looking for exceptional candidates to help us create next-generation interaction technologies for virtual and augmented reality.

Responsibilities:

As a research scientist, you will design and execute algorithms in the domain of computer vision, machine learning, computer graphics, and generative AI. You will also conduct in-depth literature reviews and build knowledge of the latest advancements in AI-based image generation techniques.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

">

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in artificial intelligence, experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow, and expertise in one or more areas including generative AI, computer vision, computer graphics, or machine learning. A PhD degree in EE/CS, Applied Math or a related STEM field is required, with a proven track record of achieving significant results demonstrated by grants, fellowships, patents, or first-authored publications.

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary of $97,160 - $147,924 per year, depending on location and experience, plus benefits. Our internships are 12-24 weeks long and we have various start dates throughout the year.
