Cloud Computing Research Expert

As a Cloud Computing Research Expert at Amazon, you will be part of the AWS Center for Quantum Computing team, working on developing and testing novel calibration and optimization tools for large-scale quantum processors. This is an exciting opportunity to lead high-impact research projects that intersect with our engineering roadmap and drive innovation in quantum computing. Your expertise in experimental quantum computing, including qubit benchmarking and tomographic protocols, will be crucial in advancing our technology.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and lead high-impact research projects in quantum processor control and error correction
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects successfully
- Maintain and improve existing quantum processing systems
We are looking for candidates with a strong background in physics, applied physics, or electrical engineering, as well as 5+ years of experience in experimental quantum computing. Familiarity with superconducting qubits, cavity/circuit QED, and microwave control of superconducting circuits is a plus. Salary: $250,000 - $300,000 per year.
