Job Summary:

The HR Assistant will be a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent administrative skills, capable of performing in a fast-paced environment. This role is responsible for all Human Resources duties, ensuring seamless execution and compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage open orders reports, communicate with staffing organizations, and facilitate seat assignments.
  • Conduct comprehensive orientations for new hires and MCP employees, ensuring a smooth onboarding process.
  • Process new hires, set up HRIS, and maintain I-9 binders for MCP-TN employees.
  • Assist with preparing new hire orientation packets, including benefit information, and ensure timely completion of benefit enrollments.
  • Oversee locker assignments, shoe reimbursements, and uniform distribution, ensuring efficient logistics.
  • Track applications, ensure accurate documentation, and complete E-Verify processes.
  • Generate reports to ensure employees complete required training, and maintain garnishments and employee records.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR Manager as needed, and maintain a professional demeanor in all interactions.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in HR, with a Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems, preferably PAYCOM, and experience with I-9, E-Verify, and general HR issues.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Physical Requirements:

This role requires frequent computer usage, walking, standing, sitting, and lifting up to 10 lbs. Ability to use both hands and feet, arms, and legs.
