Overview

As a valued member of our team at Lowes Foods, we are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Dairy/Frozen Food Department Associate to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring top-notch guest service and smooth departmental operations in the dairy/frozen food section.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service and interactions with guests and colleagues.
  • Effectively stock, rotate, and organize dairy/frozen products according to company standards to maintain a clean and safe shopping environment.
  • Manage inventory levels and maintain a tidy work area to ensure a pleasant shopping experience for our guests.
  • Efficiently manage overstock inventory in cooler/freezer areas to minimize waste and optimize storage space.
  • Implement effective inventory control measures to minimize damage and shrink.
  • Assist in merchandise verification and unloading tasks to ensure accurate and timely receipt of products.
  • Order dairy/frozen products and maintain inventory levels to meet customer demand.
  • Maintain accurate and organized paperwork for ordering and stock loss documentation.
  • Ensure that all sales floor and storage areas meet sanitation standards.
  • Assist with front-end duties to uphold exceptional service standards.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management to support the success of our team.
Requirements
  • A friendly and outgoing personality with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues to achieve team goals.
  • Physical ability to lift weights up to 60 lbs. occasionally and 40 lbs. regularly.
  • Good reading and comprehension skills to effectively follow instructions and procedures.
  • Knowledge of dairy/frozen food operations and industry best practices.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to job requirements and company policies.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills to provide exceptional guest experiences.
  • Comfortable working in varying temperatures and physically capable of bending, kneeling, standing, and operating stock equipment.
