As a key member of our dairy/frozen department, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work environment, ensuring accurate inventory levels, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Stock and rotate dairy/frozen products on shelves according to Lowes Foods standards and productivity guidelines.
  • Maintain a neat and safe work area to allow customers to shop without agitation.
  • Organize and inventory overstock in the cooler/freezer areas.
  • Minimize damage and shrink through proper inventory control and product handling.
  • Assist with unloading and verifying merchandise upon delivery to the store.
  • Responsible for ordering milk, eggs, and other dairy/frozen products to maintain proper product levels and inventory control.
  • Maintain organized paperwork associated with ordering and stock loss documentation procedures.
  • Maintain sanitation standards on the sales floor and in the cooler/freezer areas.
  • Perform front-end duties as necessary to ensure a "no noticeable wait" standard is upheld and maintained.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Friendly, outgoing personality.
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • Ability to lift 60 lbs. occasionally and 40 lbs. constantly.
  • Ability to read and understand information and direction.
  • Knowledge of dairy/frozen food operations.
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
  • Effective communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to bend, kneel, stand, push/pull stock carts, and operate a pallet jack for extended periods of time.
