Job Overview

The General Manager of Food and Beverage is a key leadership role responsible for driving the success of our food and beverage operations. This includes managing banquets, culinary, and restaurant outlets to ensure high food quality and service levels while maximizing revenue and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement annual budgets and marketing plans to penetrate new sales opportunities and maximize use within existing markets.
  • Direct and oversee recruitment and development of employees, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance reviews.
  • Implement and manage all company programs to ensure compliance with safety and sanitary regulations, as well as federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Market the Food and Beverage outlets, developing and managing the implementation of menus, package deals, promotions, displays, decorations, and presentations within corporate guidelines.
  • Manage the maintenance and sanitation of the food and beverage areas and equipment to protect the asset and ensure quality service.
  • Resolve customer complaints and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality.
Requirements
  • A four-year college degree or equivalent education/experience.
  • Four to five years of employment in a related position with this company or other organization(s).
  • Advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the food and beverage/hospitality profession, including management of people, complex problems, and food and beverage management.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and team building skills.

Environment

Inside 90% of the workday, with 10% of the workday spent inspecting walk-in coolers at temperatures ranging as low as 30 degrees.

Salary

USD $110,000.00 - USD $120,000.00 per year.
