Fitzgibbon Hospital, a non-profit community healthcare provider, plays a crucial role in the health and wellness of the Marshall, MO area and its surroundings. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Housekeeping Technician to be part of our Environmental Services department within our Hospital/Clinics. We provide a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities of a Housekeeping Technician:
  • Maintain cleanliness in patient rooms, which includes disinfecting surfaces, managing waste, cleaning sinks, counters, showers, and toilets, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, restocking supplies, changing linens, and carpet cleaning.
  • Ensure public areas are sanitized, including sinks, toilets, walls, handrails, and floors, while also managing blinds and carpets.
  • Adhere to protocols for separating regular waste from biohazardous waste and properly handling clean and soiled linens.
  • Clean ancillary spaces, which involves vacuuming, restroom sanitation, and waste disposal.
Work Schedule:
  • Full-Time
  • 4:30 PM - 1:00 AM (Nights), 80 hours biweekly
