About the Role

The Senior Manager, Pay + Reward will play a critical role in the HH Global HR Function, overseeing the management of the payroll and benefits team. This individual will work closely with the HR Business Partnering team, Finance team, vendors, and the business to deliver exceptional services to colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the HR Pay + Reward team, ensuring alignment with core HR processes and standards.
  • Drive delivery excellence in day-to-day queries, providing professional, timely, accurate, and robust advice and guidance to managers and colleagues.
  • Lead the regional coordination of annual pay and bonus review, collaborating with HR Business Partners to ensure accurate and timely creation of relevant documentation and communications.
  • Lead all audits associated with pay and benefits, from internal audit processes to external clients and/or local authorities.
  • Monitor regional SLAs to ensure delivery aligns to agreed business SLAs, identifying continuous improvements.
  • Develop and continuously improve SOPs, collaborating with key stakeholders and ensuring rollout to team members where necessary.
  • Manage the Payroll team to ensure 100% accuracy and timely payroll processing and execution, building in continuous improvement opportunities in each bi-weekly payroll and semi-monthly in the US and Canada.
  • Manage the Benefits team to ensure benefits programs across the US and Canada are fit for purpose.
  • Support the Global Pay + Reward Director to collaborate with benefit vendors to identify opportunities for cost control and best practice, and oversee a program of colleague communications, including Open Enrollment.
  • Ensure that the Benefits team is accountable for ensuring all benefit programs operate within the guidelines of federal, state, and company policies.
  • Act as the company's HIPAA Privacy Officer and manage annual HIPAA training and compliance.
  • Coach and develop team members to achieve high performance and reach career aspirations of individuals, continually aligning these to the needs of the business.
  • Continuously assess departmental performance and develop and implement process improvements and enhancements.
  • Manage and lead all regional benefit committees, providing guidance and experience of ideas and recommendations to the business.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related discipline or similar field, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in HR Payroll, Benefit and Compensation management, including at least 3 years of people management.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Payroll, HRIS, and HR benefit back-office operations.
  • Experience in departmental budgeting, strategic planning, and procedural change.
  • Strong payroll and benefit skills, especially in configuration and reporting.
  • Strong Excel skills, especially with data analysis.
  • Experience working within fast-paced, high-energy environments.
  • Willingness to set strategy and also roll up your sleeves.
  • System/payroll management experience in Ceridian is desirable.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer sponsorship.
