We are currently seeking a CT Technologist for our esteemed client. This role is a Contract position that promises to offer valuable experience.

Position Overview:

Role: CT Technologist

Location: Remote

Contract Duration: 3+ Months

Working Hours: 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM, Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute computed tomography procedures and examinations with precision.
  • Assist radiologists in various CT procedures, including biopsies and angiograms.
  • Generate high-quality CT scans for diagnostic evaluation.
  • Operate CT machinery and determine appropriate technical settings.
  • Ensure accurate patient identification on all imaging, maintaining 100% compliance.
  • Document all relevant data meticulously.
  • Provide necessary radiation safety for patients, staff, and the public.

Additional Duties:

  • Manage the processing, transfer, and archiving of patient examinations.
  • Safeguard the integrity of radiology information systems.
  • Address and escalate complex issues as needed.
  • Train and orient new staff technologists.
  • Develop and present training sessions and in-service programs.
  • Be available for on-call duties, including weekends and holidays.
  • Perform other assigned tasks as necessary.

Required Skills:

  • Fundamental understanding of computed tomography imaging.
  • Familiarity with picture archiving and communication systems (PACS).
  • Knowledge of radiology information systems.
  • Awareness of HIPAA regulations.
  • Proficient in office software applications (MS Office).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Effective time management and organizational abilities.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Current CPR certification from an accredited organization.
  • Certification in Computed Tomography (CT) from a recognized body within a specified timeframe.
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Technical Diploma from an accredited Radiology Program is mandatory.
  • Experience with pediatric patients is highly preferred.
  • Position classified as Level 4 worker.
