Job Summary

Temple Health is seeking a skilled Cardiac Cath Technologist to join our team. As a Cardiac Cath Technologist, you will be responsible for performing and/or assisting with direct patient care, including sheath removal, hemodynamic waveform and electrocardiographic tracing interpretation, and monitoring and stocking inventory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform and/or assist with direct patient care, including sheath removal and hemodynamic waveform and electrocardiographic tracing interpretation.
  • Monitor and stock inventory, and assist with patient transfer.
  • Prepare, maintain, and operate sophisticated radiologic equipment, including cineangiographic, fluorographic, digital image recording, laser, and electrophysiology equipment, in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Assist physicians in performing diagnostic and interventional, cardiac and peripheral catheterizations.
  • Assist in the monitoring of quality control programs.
Requirements
  • Associates Degree in Radiologic Studies (Required)
  • Non-Degree Program in Approved Cardiovascular Technology Program (Required)
  • Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • 1 Year experience as a cardiac cath or interventional radiology technologist (Preferred)
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Required)
  • ARRT - Amer Reg Radiologic Technlgst (Required) or RCIS - Reg Cardio Invasive Specialist (Required)
  • BLS - Basic Life Support (Required)
