Job Summary:

HumanEdge Travel Nursing and Allied Health is seeking a skilled Travel Radiologic Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography (CT) scans and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform CT scans on patients of all ages, from infants to adults, using various imaging protocols and techniques.
  • Position patients comfortably and safely on the CT table, ensuring accurate and precise imaging.
  • Operate CT scanners, adjusting settings and parameters as needed to achieve optimal image quality.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, scan parameters, and image quality.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and imaging services.

Requirements:

  • Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography or Computed Tomography (CT).
  • Basic knowledge of picture archiving and communication systems (PACS) and radiology information systems (RIS).
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
