Senior Accountant

Mercury Broadband is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join its accounting team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing support to the accounting department and performing a variety of accounting tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Provide support to the accounting department, including completing related documentation and reporting functions.
- Identify and process fixed assets, ensuring accurate reporting of depreciation and reconciling the fixed asset sub ledger to the ledger.
- Perform reconciliations to the ledger for assigned accounts and complete assigned accounting projects.
- Process transactions and update ledgers, verifying accuracy of documentation and balances.
- Prepare complex journal entries, reports, and analysis, as well as reconcile bank accounts and prepare monthly reports.
- Facilitate annual audits, including investigating and resolving audit findings, and coach, mentor, and assist with leading junior accountants and accounting team members.
- Solid working knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical, computational, and mathematical abilities.
- Proficiency in bookkeeping programs and related software.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- High level of integrity and trustworthiness.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong financial analysis and written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting Required.
- 7 or more years of experience in accounting.
