We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Emergency One Urgent Care. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing quality patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:- Obtain and input patient data into our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
- Take vital signs and recognize and communicate pertinent observations to physicians in a timely manner.
- Assist with and/or perform skills for which you have been prepared.
- Handle and label specimens appropriately.
- Maintain accurate records in the EMR system.
- Check patient rooms for supplies and obtain pertinent data for physical exams.
- Perform point-of-care testing and phlebotomy as requested.
- Relay and receive necessary information to and from involved associations to provide quality patient care.
- Medical Assistant experience is not required, but some healthcare experience is a plus.
- A High School Diploma is required.
- Competitive hourly rate of $17-$19 per hour.
- Health Insurance, Paid time off, 401K, and life insurance are available.
