We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Infusion Nurse to join our team at US Oncology, Inc. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to our mission of delivering high-quality, evidence-based cancer care.
Responsibilities- Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Assess patient needs and provide education and support to patients and families.
- Facilitate clinical operations and patient care, including managing medication refill requests and scheduling consultations.
- Triage patient phone calls and document relevant information in the patient's chart.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate services related to patient care.
- Graduate from an accredited program for professional nursing education, BSN preferred.
- RN state license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Five years nursing experience.
