Key Responsibilities
Below is a summary of essential duties for the Client Relations Coordinator position, though additional responsibilities may be assigned:
- Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients, addressing inquiries and providing eligibility details.
- Assist in resolving minor to moderate client concerns under the guidance of the Account Manager, including eligibility inquiries, claims, and billing challenges.
- Request identification cards and manage address modifications with carriers on behalf of employer groups as needed.
- Support with Applications and Terminations as assigned. Process employee enrollments, modifications, and terminations on behalf of employer groups promptly. Gather necessary forms and information from employers or Account Managers, following up on any missing details to ensure compliance with carrier protocols. Confirm that hire or termination dates align with specific plan eligibility requirements before submitting applications. Send completed forms to carriers ahead of the effective date. Provide email confirmations to employers and follow up with carriers via phone to ensure receipt and verify correct processing of applications. Store all enrollment information electronically in Brokerage Builder.
- Ensure timely updates to the Brokerage Builder system for all policy changes or updates within three business days of renewal or new business decisions.
- During new group submissions or renewals, compile open enrollment materials, applications, and policy information, scanning copies into Brokerage Builder. Provide administrative support as necessary in printing, organizing, and preparing open enrollment materials.
- Generate rate confirmation and termination letters for clients under the supervision of the Account Manager.
Qualifications and Skills
To be considered for this position, candidates should meet the following qualifications:
- Proficient in reading and writing in English.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must currently hold (or be able to obtain within 90 days of hire) a Colorado Life, Accident, and Health License.
- Demonstrated proficiency in computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office products, especially Word and Excel. Previous experience with Brokerage Builder is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Strong customer service and teamwork skills; must effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and management.
- Exceptional attention to detail and robust organizational capabilities.
- Solid prioritization skills, a sense of urgency, and the ability to work efficiently under time constraints.
- Ability to analyze and resolve issues effectively.
Compensation: $21.25 per hour (based on experience and licensing).
