With a national footprint and offices across multiple states, Spitz is currently looking for an attorney in North Carolina to spearhead the growth of our claims and litigation division.

Key Qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess strong client interaction abilities, exceptional communication skills, empathy, and a robust work ethic. We encourage applications from all licensed attorneys, irrespective of GPA or prior experience. While familiarity with employment law is beneficial, it is not a prerequisite. This position offers substantial opportunities for professional development.

Compensation: $60,000 - $85,000 annually

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare legal documents
  • Manage discovery processes
  • Conduct depositions
  • Participate in court proceedings
  • Assess claims related to discrimination, sexual harassment, FMLA, overtime, and wrongful termination
  • Facilitate settlement negotiations
  • Engage daily with staff and management to coordinate screenings and consultations

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a Juris Doctorate
  • Must be currently licensed to practice law in North Carolina, awaiting NC bar results, and licensed in another state
  • Must demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must exhibit empathy
  • Must possess advanced time management skills and the ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively
