Job Title: Workers Compensation Attorney

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workers Compensation Attorney to join our team at Jobot. As a Workers Compensation Attorney, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of workers' compensation cases, providing expert legal advice to clients, and representing them in all aspects of the workers' compensation claim process.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of workers' compensation cases from inception through resolution.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and interpret workers' compensation laws for the benefit of clients.
  • Provide expert legal advice and opinions to clients about their workers' compensation claims.
  • Represent clients in hearings, arbitrations, and trials, ensuring their rights are protected.
  • Prepare and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements.
  • Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and insurance companies.
  • Develop and implement effective case strategies to ensure favorable case resolutions.
  • Coordinate and maintain effective communication with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and insurance adjusters.
  • Provide regular case updates to clients and maintain thorough case reporting.
  • Analyze and evaluate legal cases to determine the best course of action.
Requirements:
  • Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Workers Compensation Attorney or similar role.
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of workers' compensation laws and procedures.
  • Proven experience in managing a caseload of workers' compensation cases.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to strategize, analyze, and interpret complex legal situations.
  • Strong experience in litigation and trial practice.
  • Proven ability to provide expert legal advice and opinions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in legal case management software.
