BROWARD COUNTY CLERK OF CIRCUIT AND COUNTY COURTS seeks a skilled Technical Systems Specialist to perform complex technical activities for the development and maintenance of business applications, related projects, and internal systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical background and experience in Database technologies, MS SQL, and Microsoft server-based environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage application lifecycle, including current and future software installations, and provide site configuration and administration for assigned software products and associated databases.
  • Analyze system performance and resource utilization, and run reports to support process workflows for development of new and enhanced systems.
  • Troubleshoot enterprise applications, prepare problem reports, investigate root cause, document known errors, and recommend workarounds and fixes.
  • Participate in analysis of new systems and recommended upgrades, and consult with vendors when necessary to solve problems.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • Four years of experience in IT applications, system deployment, and project management, or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of database design, data security requirements, and techniques.
  • Skill in report writing, business intelligence tools, managing external vendors, and internal departments.
  • Ability to align applications information and functionality with business requirements.
Estimated Salary:

$80,000 - $110,000 per year, based on location and experience.
