About the Role

The Detroit Medical Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Medical Team Lead in the Telemetry unit. This is a full-time, night shift position at DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled RN with strong leadership and communication skills to oversee the care of our patients on the telemetry unit. As a Medical Team Lead, you will be responsible for managing and providing patient care activities, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare providers, and ensuring that our patients receive high-quality, compassionate care.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of the telemetry unit, including assigning tasks and responsibilities to nursing staff.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct regular rounds to assess patient needs and provide feedback to nursing staff.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient progress and communicate effectively with family members and caregivers.
  • Participate in shared decision-making activities and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Michigan.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a telemetry or critical care setting.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
Compensation and Benefits

This is a full-time, night shift position with a competitive salary range of $95,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to your salary, you will also be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and retirement savings plan.
