Job Summary:The Full Time Community Manager will be responsible for greeting prospects, presenting the features and benefits of our assigned property, and fostering customer service by working with tenants and maintenance staff to solve tenant problems or complaints.
Key Responsibilities:- Represent the property as the sales representative and present the features and benefits to prospects.
- Provide exceptional customer service to tenants and maintenance staff to resolve issues and complaints.
- Enforce and adhere to lease rules and regulations, including Fair Housing Laws.
- Submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports to the Regional Property Manager, Accounting, or Corporate Office department.
- Process move-out paperwork and security deposit status according to procedural timeline.
- Organize, maintain, and oversee property and resident files, verifications, lease renewals, and collections.
- Monitor and maintain monthly rental payments and prepare monthly financial reports for internal accounting, HUD agencies, and DHCR audits.
- 1-3 years' experience in the RD/Affordable Housing field.
- RD experience required.
- USDA RD certification preferred.
- Fair Housing certification preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Confident, positive attitude, and ability to multi-task.
- Ability to interact with a wide range of people and diplomacy in handling problems of residents.
- Ability to assume responsibilities.
- Proven team leader.
- Proficient with a computer and all Microsoft Programs.
- Knowledge of Boston Post a plus.
