Job Summary:

Walgreens is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pharmacist to join our team. As a key member of our pharmacy staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, ensuring the accuracy and safety of medication dispensing, and promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert clinical advice and guidance to patients and healthcare professionals on medication usage, side effects, and interactions.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely dispensing of medications, adhering to regulatory guidelines and company policies.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, healthcare providers, and community partners to promote Walgreens' services and enhance patient outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest pharmacy practices, technologies, and industry developments.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy staff to optimize workflow, improve patient satisfaction, and enhance the overall pharmacy experience.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of pharmacy policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Pharmacist degree from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure in the states within the district.
  • Experience in retail pharmacy settings, including prescription filling, verification, and records management.
  • Certified Immunizer or willingness to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting, including prescription filling, verification, and records management.
