Job Summary:

The In-Home Salesperson/Comfort Advisor will be responsible for developing profitable sales and acquiring customers through our established sales and marketing program. This includes providing technical and sales training/support, making recommendations to customers, and identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop estimates for projects sold and manage budgets for jobs
  • Perform "Whole House Diagnostics" to accurately size and design HVAC and plumbing systems and equipment
  • Follow-up on all leads, proposals, and potential sales until closed or lost
  • Track lost sales and self-generate 25% of all leads
  • Update the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system for each interaction
  • Determine customer satisfaction through follow-up calls at 7, 30, 90, and 365 days after completion
  • Have a good working knowledge of our products and services, including additional study and training as needed
  • Communicate effectively with associates, superiors, vendors, and customers
  • Ask and obtain customer referrals and web recommendations
  • Possess superior interpersonal skills and be able to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings and specifications
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under time and budgetary constraints and pressures
  • Computer literacy, including Excel and Word, and familiarity with smart phones, email, and Outlook
  • Ability to understand client needs and favorably influence their decision
  • Constantly learning through training from suppliers, trade shows, seminars, independent study, and other employees
