Job Description

The City of Kalispell is seeking a highly skilled individual to serve as a Utility Billing Clerk. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring accurate and timely billing for our utility services.

We offer a competitive salary of $20.35/hour, which reflects the importance of this position in our organization. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes paid vacation, sick leave, holidays, and retirement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process utility bills and ensure accuracy
  • Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, and in-person interactions
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of services

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in customer service or billing
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
