Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced financial leader to join our team at JCCS, P.C. as an Audit Manager. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for overseeing the completion of tax returns and year-end compilations, managing audits, and other complex accounting projects.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited university, be licensed C.P.A. by the Montana State Board of Public Accountants, and have at least 5 years of experience (3 years in public accounting required).

A competitive compensation package is offered, including a salary range of $90,000 - $140,000 per year, along with benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and a profit-sharing 401(k) plan with safe harbor contributions. We also offer opportunities to develop new skills and advance your career.

  • Maintain confidentiality of information related to client, staff, and Firm's internal operations during and after employment.
  • Manage complex audit engagements, billing, and review tasks under shareholder supervision.
  • Possess strong working knowledge of GASB, FASB, GAS, and GAGAS standards.
  • Establish additional responsibilities in areas of accounting interest, such as budgets, investments, and information systems.
  • Delegate, supervise, and review more complex audits and functions to staff, taking responsibility for quality control issues.
  • Utilize technical competence to serve on committees and lead teams within the firm.
  • Comply with established work hours, scheduling, and billable time expectations.
  • Contribute significantly to marketing activities and promote new Firm services.
