Position Overview

Adjunct Faculty for Mathematics

Trinity Washington University, a distinguished institution located in the heart of the nation's capital, is seeking a qualified adjunct faculty member to instruct the following in-person courses:

MATH 108: Finite Mathematics (4 credits), Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays 10:30 AM - 11:45 AM

MATH 109: Foundations of Mathematics (4 credits), Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays 10:30 AM - 11:45 AM

Compensation: $965 per credit hour.

Course Schedule: The semester commences with classes starting on a Monday and concludes with final examinations the following week.

Qualifications: Ideal candidates will possess a Master's degree from an accredited institution in mathematics or a closely related field. Demonstrated excellence in teaching is essential. Candidates must provide official transcripts for all degrees, sample syllabi, evaluations, and contact details for three professional references if selected for an interview. A solid understanding of effective teaching methodologies is required. Candidates who exhibit proficiency in engaging and active learning strategies, particularly with first-year students, will be given preference.
