Position Summary

As a Technical Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in steering product development from inception to execution. Your expertise will help us deliver superior solutions that transform logistics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee comprehensive product development processes; guide initiatives from requirement gathering to validation, certification, and ongoing support.
  • Identify and communicate project timelines and risks to executive leadership, while facilitating productive project meetings.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to monitor design package releases, procurement, and production status.
  • Engage cross-functionally with Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software, Manufacturing, and Operations teams to establish and maintain project schedules and deliverables.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate issues that could hinder the team's success in achieving objectives. Maintain regular communication with key stakeholders regarding project status and risks.
  • Manage the production plan and resource allocation leading up to product launches. Work closely with Engineering, Product Managers, and Supply Chain teams to implement the launch strategy.
  • Direct compliance initiatives, ongoing operations, and post-launch analysis.
  • Enhance internal processes to boost team productivity and quality of work.
  • Collaborate with the Product team to guide product decisions based on timelines, budgets, and engineering resource availability.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in program management within hardware system development.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in coordinating builds, orders, and BOM costs with contract manufacturers and suppliers, both domestic and international.
  • Experience in a startup environment characterized by rapid prototyping and the development of long-term scaling strategies with manufacturing partners.
  • Familiarity with PCBAs, cables, FPCAs, mechanical assemblies, and optical assemblies.
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities across multiple projects while maintaining agility in the development process.
  • Experience in communicating effectively with executive leadership regarding schedules, risks, and budget considerations.
