Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Virtual Special Education Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality virtual instruction to students with diverse needs, developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Virtual Instruction: Deliver engaging and effective virtual special education instruction to students, utilizing a range of digital tools and resources.
  • Develop IEPs: Create and implement individualized education plans that cater to the distinct needs and abilities of each student.
  • Collaborate with Educators: Work closely with a talented team of educators, parents, and virtual pioneers to ensure seamless communication and coordinated support.
  • Record Progress: Maintain accurate and detailed records of student progress, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree: Hold a Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
  • Tennessee Teaching Certification: Possess valid Tennessee teaching certification in Special Education.
  • Virtual Teaching Experience: Prior experience in virtual or remote teaching is highly desirable.
  • Digital Communication: Demonstrate excellent digital communication and teaching skills, ensuring clear and effective online interactions with students, colleagues, and parents.
