Surgical Orthopedic Physician Assistant Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Orthopedic Physician Assistant to join our team at Northeast Healthcare Recruitment. This is a full-time position that requires a day shift schedule with on-call responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the attending physician to prepare and record patient histories, develop and implement care plans, and participate in daily rounds on assigned patients.
- Document pertinent symptoms, findings, diagnoses, and care plans using the electronic medical record (EMR) system, ensuring accurate order entry and comprehensive documentation.
- Participate in rounding, respond to coding and documentation queries, and contribute to quality and safety initiatives as requested.
Requirements:
- Board-certified as a Physician Assistant (PA)
- Oregon license or be willing to obtain one
- Minimum of two years of work experience as an inpatient Orthopedic PA is preferred, this does not include training
