Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Professional to join our Orthopedic team at WVU Medicine. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide comprehensive and individualized care for orthopedic patients and their families in the inpatient and ambulatory settings.

Responsibilities
  • Manage comprehensive and individualized care for orthopedic patients and their families.
  • Complete daily rounds, consults, and pre-procedure evaluations.
  • Perform and communicate results of diagnostic tests.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive individualized plans of care.
  • Collaborate with orthopedic faculty and staff to facilitate creative problem-solving and provide professional support.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant required.
  • National Certification by one of the recognized APRN Certification Centers or Certification by the National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants required.
  • Licensure, or eligibility for licensure, as a professional Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in West Virginia required.
  • Experience in acute care, surgical, or orthopedic settings preferred.
