About the Position

We are looking for a skilled audit accountant to join our team in Camp Hill, State College, or Chambersburg. This is a full-time opportunity with a competitive salary and various benefits.

In this role, you will assist in carrying out audit, accounting, assurance, and other services for government clients. You will also develop new client relationships and enhance current ones by providing exceptional customer service.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of the government industry, including government accounting and reporting matters, compliance specific to government organizations, best practices, and unique challenges facing government organizations.

The estimated salary for this role is $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in carrying out audit, accounting, assurance, and other services to government clients
  • Develop new client relationships and enhance current relationships by providing excellent customer service
  • Contribute to the growth of the team by delegating assignments, training, and providing feedback
Requirements
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • Strong knowledge of the government industry
  • Previous experience with auditing government and related organizations
  • Actively working towards obtaining your CPA license; current CPA license preferred
  • Minimum of 2+ years professional experience
