Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute essential tax functions under the supervision of the Tax Manager.
  • Manage client support inquiries through our software platform, ensuring timely responses.
  • Onboard new clients in tax software, importing payroll history and conducting accuracy checks on tax accounts.
  • Prepare and file Federal and State amended tax returns, assisting with multi-state payroll tax filings and reconciliations.
  • Process daily tax payments to various governmental agencies.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of an accounting or tax degree.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, providing analytical support in payroll tax matters.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas clearly.
  • Experience in payroll tax is preferred.
  • Eligibility as a CPA candidate is a plus.
