Compensation Package:

Salary Range: $70,000 - $100,000, plus commission. Compensation is contingent upon industry experience.

Position Overview:

The Specialty Account Manager is tasked with developing and nurturing relationships with referral sources within a designated sales territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Senior Management to enhance operational efficiency, product expertise, and sales techniques to achieve both personal and corporate objectives.
  • Develop a strategic business plan aimed at surpassing annual sales revenue targets.
  • Proactively seek referrals from existing and potential clients.
  • Address customer complaints in line with company policies and promptly inform management.
  • Create territory plans to maximize efficiency in meeting customer demands and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Educate referral sources on all CSI Pharmacy services tailored to customer needs and advantages.
  • Formulate competitive strategies and routing based on market analysis.
  • Adhere to all company policies, instructions, and directives to achieve corporate goals and optimize profitable sales.
  • Timely completion and submission of all required reports and administrative tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records and files in accordance with company standards.
  • Meet established company benchmarks for:
    • Sales skills
    • Product and competitive knowledge
    • Account and territory engagement
    • Professional demeanor and conduct
    • Expense management within the sales budget
  • Assist management with special projects, including market testing, surveys, budget development, and territory analysis.
  • Deliver high-quality services to home-care patients and referral sources.
  • Participate in conventions, trade shows, and training sessions related to IV therapy.
  • Consistently represent the company in a professional and ethical manner.
  • Foster effective working relationships and collaborate with all company personnel.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, candidates must demonstrate the ability to perform essential duties effectively. The following qualifications are required:

  • Exhibit the highest level of professionalism, responsiveness, and communication to build and maintain a robust customer base.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Possess a valid driver's license, maintain automobile insurance, and have access to a reliable vehicle.

Education and Experience:

A college degree is preferred, or equivalent experience is acceptable.

A minimum of two years in medical sales or related experience is required.

Experience in home infusion or specialty pharmacy is advantageous.

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands of this position require the employee to regularly communicate verbally and audibly. The employee will frequently stand, walk, sit, climb stairs, handle objects, and reach with hands and arms.

Frequent lifting and/or moving of up to 20 pounds is required. Specific vision abilities include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

This position typically operates in a standard office environment. The role may involve travel by automobile and exposure to varying weather conditions.
