About the Role

Nexamp is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Channel Development Manager to join our Corporate Development team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting in the efficient processing of project and pipeline acquisition opportunities through asset financing, establishing and cultivating relationships with development partners, and pursuing strategic targets and internal KPIs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support deal origination efforts across active and target markets to advance annual budgetary goals and KPIs
  • Sustain productive communications with partners and internal teams
  • Coordinate closely with Nexamp business units to ensure efficient flow of information and decision-making for individual opportunities and portfolios
  • Implement and manage organizational systems and tools to manage project workflow, focusing on cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement
  • Maintain a detailed system for assessing and analyzing project and partner pipeline, managing internal tools for real-time accuracy and insights
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient flow of information and decision-making for individual projects and portfolios
  • Coordinate the refinement of the Channel Development product offering for various partner types
  • Assist with administrative and organizational priorities to maintain accurate internal data on transaction status and project details
  • Work with transaction leads to facilitate efficient progress of project and portfolio opportunities
Requirements
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in project development, with experience in renewables highly preferred
  • 2+ years of experience with transactions and transaction documentation
  • Direct experience in solar project permitting or solar project design engineering preferred
  • Familiarity with issues impacting solar development lifecycle
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Interest in learning about larger industry trends and coordinating with multiple groups within Nexamp
  • Demonstrated ability to balance competing priorities and manage multiple projects
  • Commitment to Nexamp's mission and passion for solving tomorrow's climate crisis today
  • Demonstrated experience in effectively communicating information, ideas, and perspectives with people inside and beyond your organization
  • Experience in showcasing initiative to make improvements to current work, processes, products, and services across the organization
  • Ability to ask appropriate questions, analyze data, identify root causes of problems, and present creative solutions
  • Expertise in building strong internal and external relationships with customers and stakeholders, instilling trust and loyalty across the industry
  • Eagerness to develop a fundamental understanding of how Nexamp operates and apply that knowledge effectively to inform business decisions
