About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to join our team in Sydney. As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in supporting our National Account Team to ensure customer channel strategies are implemented with excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage internal trade spend processes and submittals with customers
  • Manage customer activations, such as off-location activities
  • Product promotional forecasting and customer forecast collaboration
  • Manage promotional evaluation for nominated customers
  • Maintain customer range lists
  • Process customer requests for images/product samples
  • Relationship management with relevant retailer contacts in Tier 1 customers
  • Customer management with allocated Tier 2 and Tier 3 customers, supporting the National Account Manager
  • Ensure account priorities are efficiently communicated to the field team
  • Assist with product range reviews and ad-hoc presentations
  • New product launch planning
  • Support new business development

Requirements:

  • Degree qualifications preferred
  • Experience within the FMCG or Retail Industry, in roles such as a Territory Manager, Category Analyst or Brand Activation
  • Numerically savvy/good commercial acumen
  • Team player
  • Ability to balance multiple tasks, administration support for a National Account Manager, as well as customer-facing duties managing a specific customer portfolio
  • Eager to learn
