Clinical Therapist

Richmond Behavioral Health Authority is seeking a skilled Clinical Therapist to join our Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU). As a key member of our team, you will provide direct clinical services to clients, including intake, assessment, and treatment planning. Your expertise will be essential in developing and implementing individualized service plans, coordinating case management services, and providing crisis intervention and prevention services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform triage of referrals, intakes, and client assessments
- Conduct mental health and substance use disorder assessments and monitor level of functioning
- Manage all clinical needs of CSU clients on assigned shift
- Develop and facilitate psycho-educational groups, provide individual, family, and group counseling, and implement treatment plans
- Coordinate case management services, link clients to community resources and medical services, and interface with other service providers and client support systems
Requirements:
- Master's degree in social work, psychology, nursing, or related field from an accredited college
- At least one year of experience working with seriously mentally ill clients
- Two years' experience working with dually diagnosed clients
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and evenings
- Excellent customer service skills
