Apple is seeking a highly skilled Senior AI/ML Operations Engineer to join our Big Data team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing large-scale data pipelines and systems to support our AI/ML initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop data pipelines and systems to support AI/ML initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data requirements
- Develop and maintain data quality metrics and protocols
- Partner with researchers and engineers to develop and implement new data collection methods
- Present solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in AI/ML and big data
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering and operations
- Strong programming skills in Python and/or Swift
- Experience with data pipelines and systems
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (Ph.D./MBA)
- Deep passion for AI/ML and big data
- Proficiency in additional programming languages
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms
