Job Title: Construction Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Construction Technician to join our team at Aerotek. As a Construction Technician, you will be responsible for building and fabricating various structures, including walls, kitchens, and bathrooms, in each unit. You will also perform cleaning tasks, conduct carpentry repairs, and inspect and repair trailer brakes, hitch, axles, tires, and locks on doors.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and fabricate structures, including walls, kitchens, and bathrooms
  • Perform cleaning tasks, including windows, walls, ceilings, fixtures, and doors
  • Conduct carpentry repairs as needed
  • Inspect and repair trailer brakes, hitch, axles, tires, and locks on doors
  • Install company signage per company guidelines

Requirements:

  • Basic understanding of carpentry
  • Electrical knowledge
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Experience in handyman tasks (carpentry, concrete, electrical, plumbing, general construction)
  • Ability to read a tape measure
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Capability to lift up to 50lbs consistently

Job Type: This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 5 Month(s).

Work Site: This is a fully on-site position in East Syracuse, New York.
