Parkhurst Dining Field Marketing and Engagement Intern

Parkhurst Dining is a family-owned and operated company that provides culinary, dining, and catering services to over 80 organizations and universities.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Field Marketing and Engagement Intern to support our team in executing the field marketing roadmap at our designated accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with the Field Marketing team to create and execute social communication, marketing campaigns, promotions, and interactive events to reach target goals.
  • Assist the account leader with creative requests and understanding market trends and data to influence decisions that drive desirable results.
  • Coordinate the execution and interaction of social media strategy, designed to engage and inform target audiences.
  • Use insights from industry trends and feedback data to influence decisions that will drive targeted outcomes.
  • Act as a student liaison to various departments and organizations on campus and assist with Dining Committee meetings or regular feedback events to obtain guest insights.
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of the account's participation in campus and community events to promote awareness of dining programs, increase auxiliary sales, and strengthen brand perception.
Requirements:
  • Current university student pursuing a degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business Management, Hospitality Management, or related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail and ability to learn and apply new information.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience utilizing social media sites including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office Suite and technologically savvy.
  • Confident with an outgoing, upbeat, friendly personality.
  • Demonstrated team player.

This is a paid internship position that supports the successful Brand Activation and the execution of the field marketing roadmap at our designated account.

The schedule is flexible to accommodate class schedules and other on-campus commitments.
