We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Neuro Progressive Care team in Albany Medical Center. This role is ideal for a nurse who is dedicated to providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team.
About the Role- Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments, procedures, and special tests.
- Assess and evaluate patient needs for, and responses to, care rendered.
- Apply sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions.
- Provide primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients.
- Direct and guide ancillary personnel and maintain standards of professional nursing.
This role requires a deep understanding of nursing regulations and policies, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
CompensationThe estimated hourly rate for this position is between $34 and $35 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
