About this Position

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly qualified Part-Time Faculty, Culinary Management to join our team at Valencia College.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach culinary management courses to students in a variety of modalities, including classroom, hybrid, and online.
  • Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with the college's learning outcomes and student core competencies.
  • Provide feedback to students on their progress and mastery of course and program outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other relevant information.
  • Stay current with industry trends and developments in culinary management.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Culinary Management or a related field.
  • Teaching experience at the community college level or in a related field.
  • Knowledge of learning-centered values and the ability to develop and implement curriculum that promotes student learning.
  • Ability to use emerging technologies and alternative delivery methods appropriately.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Working Conditions:

This position primarily operates in a professional office environment and may require occasional travel to campus locations. The employee will be required to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings or weekends, as needed.
